Geoproducts Geoproducts are materials developed, manufactured or manufactured in the region of geoparks. The products are inspired by the local geodiversity by using local raw materials, traditional production methods, or even in their forms, labels or packaging.

What is a geopark? The Geopark proposes to encourage the development of communities inserted in its territory through actions aimed at encouraging geoeducation, the implementation of geotouristic activities and the preservation of geological heritage. “Geoparks are not just stones, they are people and it is crucial that they are involved in the process of creation, affirmation and development of these projects. We want to see as many people walk around the Geopark territory and appreciate the geology of the area. Park Road and Viewpoints Discover here the geosites that are close to MT-251 and the viewpoints. Martinha Waterfall The Cachoeira da Martinha geosite is located on the border with the municipality of Campo Verde, 42km from the municipal headquarters of Chapada dos Guimarães, via MT-251. The place is commonly identified by the welcome sign to Campo Verde, the presence of a crosswalk and the Martinha restaurant and snack bar. The site offers parking service for visitors to the waterfall, has restrooms and meals must be ordered. The waterfall is located on the opposite side of the road, and access is possible via a small trail. Viewpoint of the Geodesic Center 8 km from the city of Chapada dos Guimarães, on the MT-251, there is a short access trail to the attraction, one of the most famous spots in the municipality. The attraction is closed due to the lack of adequate structures for tourism. The lookout is 845 meters high and therefore allows a panoramic view of the landscape. From it, testimonial hills such as the Santo Antônio hill can be seen. Viewpoint Alto do Céu ​ Access is via the MT-251, turning right at Km 8, along a paved road for 7 km, giving way to an unpaved stretch of less than 1 km of dirt road. There is a snack bar, cafeteria and restrooms at the reception, where meals can be ordered. It is possible to reach the viewpoint by car, a fact that makes the place accessible to the elderly, children and people with disabilities. In the historical context there are close records, and an active gold mining project can be seen in the landscape that allows approaching local economic cycles. Viewpoint Morro dos Ventos Morro dos Ventos is located in the urban perimeter of the municipality of Chapada dos Guimarães, which is accessed by the MT-251, close to the exit to the municipality of Campo Verde. On site there is a souvenir shop, a restaurant and a suspended gazebo, whose services are open every day of the week, from 8 am to 6 pm. Atman Mountains Situated about 2 km from the municipal seat, the Serra do Atmã viewpoint is open from 11 am to 4 pm, every day of the week, throughout the year. On site there is a parking lot and a restaurant with international and typical cuisine from the Mato Grosso region. Cliff The Penhasco is located in the urban perimeter of the municipality of Chapada dos Guimarães, with easy access and well signposted. The site has a leisure structure with day use services (every day from 8 am to 6 pm), an area for meetings and business events, accommodation, a restaurant (every day from 11 am to 3 pm) and a lookout point for observing the landscape. The integration between leisure, gastronomic and contemplation tourism are the strong point of this geosite. Dolina Olho D'água The Dolina Olho D'água geosite is located near Rua São Benedito, the road is paved and nearby there are shops, restaurants and hotels. The geosite is not open for visitation and does not have adequate trails. The site has preserved vegetation and is located close to the Santa Edwiges Community Garden, which has been in operation for over 20 years, and to the Maria Luiza De Araújo Gomes Municipal School, which can stimulate local neighborhood involvement with the geosite in question, providing management participatory and environmental education. Salgadeira The Salgadeira Tourist Complex is a traditional tourist spot located on the border of the municipalities of Cuiabá and Chapada dos Guimarães. The geosite is located on the banks of MT-251, 19.2 km from the seat of the municipality of Chapada dos Guimarães. On site there is a restaurant, handicraft shop, snack bar, an interpretation center, ample parking and spaces for a spa and the Salgadeira waterfall. The local tourist structure is mostly accessible to People with Special Needs (PNEs).

Scientific Geosites Discover here the geosites that are within the Chapada dos Guimarães National Park Dinosaurs Jangada Roncador The road to the rural community Jangada-Roncador, 90 km away from the municipal headquarters, is made up of unpaved roads. In the region there are snack bars, markets and other tourist support services, but the geosite is not open for visitation. The fossil content collected in the region and described in scientific articles confers a high scientific value to the geosite, with emphasis on the holotype Pycnonemosaurus nevesi, the dinosaur typically from Chapada, whose name means “lizard of the dense forest” in association with the characteristics of the cerrado. Dinosaurs Morro do Cambambe Access to the geosite is carried out by the MT-020, heading from the Água Fria district towards Lago do Manso for 3 km, and then via an unpaved road for 7 km to the farm's headquarters. The route to the geosite is carried out by a trail of approximately 800m. The site is not open for visitation and there are no support structures, with the Água Fria district headquarters being the closest location to a restaurant and support services. The area has high biodiversity with the presence of wild animals. Among the cultural aspects can be associated with the presence of the traditional population of the surroundings, with emphasis on the group of crabs Flor do Cambambe that has the dinosaur as a symbol. Sinkhole Access to this geosite is made from the municipal headquarters by MT-251, followed by MT-450. The geosite is not open to visitors and there are no local support structures or suitable trails. The site has unmodified savannah with abundant fauna and flora and the presence of wild animals such as tapirs, rheas and various species of birds. Marine fossils - Prof.ª Dr. Raquel Quadros Access to the geosite is via the MT-251 highway, following the side road of the Morro do São Jerônimo and Caverna Casa de Pedra trail. The name of the geosite refers to the Panthalassa Ocean that covered the region during the deposition of these rocks and takes the name of the researcher Raquel Quadros who carried out studies on the fossil records of the Devonian in Chapada dos Guimarães. The geosite is not open to tourist visitation, only for scientific studies, the closest support structure is located in the geosite of Cachoeira Véu de Noiva.
